What is the Best Chiropractic Technique?

Something I hear from people a lot is “yeah I’ve seen a chiropractor before, and they did this technique”. Or I hear other chiropractors touting their special techniques and tools and whatnot. Many people don’t know this, but there are over 150 different techniques within chiropractic care. So that leads to a fair question, of all those techniques, which one is the *best* one?

There are dozens and dozens of different chiropractic techniques. It's my job to find the right one for you.

My two cents, for what it’s worth, is that the best technique for any individual is the one that gets results. I know that may sound like a cop-out answer, but as long as everyone involved feels confident that the person is feeling better and functioning and holding their spine alignment at a higher level, the outcome should be more important than any one particular way to get there.

In my approach, I have a handful of tools of in the toolbox. The majority of what I do is through hand-based adjustments, because most people respond well to it. But table-assisted and tool-assisted techniques also help if I’m seeing certain signs during the exam to go towards them, and the muscle work and home exercises help many people respond faster, ultimately requiring less visits to get to the same outcome.

The great thing about chiropractic care is that there are so many techniques within our training that often times there’s a technique that can get someone the results they’re looking for. It’s all about matching up the right technique with the right individual, and letting the outcomes arrive from there.
