A restful night’s sleep doesn’t just refresh your mind—it can help power up your immune system!  Yep, all those times you were told, “Sleep it off, and you’ll feel better?” Research shows there’s truth to that age-old wisdom.  Many of your immune system functions, like your sleep schedule, operate on a 24-hour cycle.  Your body uses sleep as its time to recover.  Some of your most important immune cells are very active while you sleep.

Much like adjustments, sleeping well can actually help keep inflammation and nagging aches and pains in check. (And if those same aches and pains are waking you up throughout the night, give us a call so we can help!)

All that to say, sleeping well is a crucial part of living well. When you prioritize sleep, you’re essentially charging up your body’s own protective shield.  So, if you find yourself yawning through the day or wrestling with sleeplessness—maybe because of one too many nagging aches—let us help.
