In light of EVERYTHING going on this year – from pandemics, to state shutdowns, to civil rights movements…let alone the murder hornets!! – how are your new years resolutions holding up? If you set these goals at the beginning of the year but have fallen off the wagon, you’re like most Americans. Even before 2020, research has shown that most New Years Resolutions begin to fade as soon as the second Friday in January!!
I mentioned this back in December and I’ll hit on it again, making real personal change is going to come down to setting “SMART” goals for the season of life that you’re in. Specific, measurable, actionable, realistic, and time-sensitive. This is true regardless of what part of your life you’re choosing to focus on – including for your health!
So, consider this blog as a wake-up call if you’re just now realizing that it’s time to get back to improving your health. Your resolutions may have come and gone, but there’s never a bad time to become healthier. Even in the middle of June, you can commit to a new exercise plan, diet, and approach to your health. Your body will thank you!
